In their paper entitled “A Moral Foundations Perspective on CEO Political Ideology and Moral Behavior,” Marc Kowalzick, Moritz Appels, and Michael Woywode challenge the notion of liberal-leaning CEOs as particularly responsible chief executives and demonstrate that liberal and conservative-leaning CEOs engage in comparable degrees of responsible and irresponsible corporate practices in line with their unique emphasis on distinct moral foundations. The paper was selected as the best paper of the “Behavioral Strategy and Purpose-Driven Strategies“ Track of the Strategic Interest Group on Strategic Management.
Moreover, Marc Kowalzick has been nominated as the best conference reviewer.
